Handy travel gadget

I have come across a luggage tag that has many handy features, in 2010 it's also going to be available for purchase in Italy. It's called ReboundTag and is RFID enabled. What is that and why is it important?

Well RFID stands for Radio Frequency IDentification and it's now in use in Rome Fiumicino airport and Malpensa Terminal 2. An RFID device like this one allows it's details to be read from some meters away not up close as a traditional barcode reader requires. So this means my luggage can be found from distance and if lost located and returned to me quicker.

Infact the airlines and airports reckon that they rate of safe and faster return of luggage ti its owner could increase by 20% Infact a case study of a large international airport handling 100,000 bags daily reported over 700 lost per day. With ReboundTag one of those is not going to be mine.

  2. My name is Joe Pinzone and I'm casting an international travel show about expats moving abroad. We'd love to film in Italy and wanted to know if you could help us find expats who have moved there within the last 15 months or have been there for 3-4 years, but recently moved into a new home. The show documents their move to a new country and will place the country in fabulous light. The expats on the show would also receive monetary compensation if they are filmed. They must also speak English fluently and can be buyers or renters for their homes. If you'd like more information, please give me a call at 212-231-7716 or skype me at joefromnyc. You can also email me at joepinzone@leopardusa.com. Looking forward to hearing from you.
